Artist Statement:
In 2013, I suffered from a brain bleed. That changed everything. Ever since, I have been managing what is best described as a “visual disturbance”. Visually, nothing is completely still. This is what shapes the type of art I create. I have always been in love with art. I grew up in Queens, NY, just a few minutes from some of the best art museums and galleries in the world; I never felt it was part of my world, though. I thought art was something that other people got to make and have in their homes. In 2019, something changed. I gave up trying to fix the visual disturbance and instead used it to fuel creativity. I threw myself into painting like I never had before, and people started to respond to what I was creating. The art I create is inspired by the 5 boroughs of NYC, the music I love, and most of all the vivid colors and movement that are part of my vision. I primarily use acrylic on canvas, but some other mixed media come into play in some pieces.

Plus Signs (+): a mantra to ‘Keep Adding More ’-more experiences, more love, more adventure, more abundance in every form.
