The Mohawk Valley Center for the Arts is reopening. We are planning new events, classes, and programs for 2021 and beyond.

Volunteers are the lifeblood of our organization. We need your help!

We are actively recruiting new volunteers to help us.
–   We need hosts/hostesses for our upcoming exhibits in our 401 Gallery to help usher people through the shows as we observe social distancing protocols. “The Art of the Vote” will be first up during May/June. This is the collaborative effort with Munson Williams Proctor Art Institute. Hosting is a great way to familiarize yourself with MVCA and meet our guests and members. Why not volunteer to open the gallery for an afternoon or evening a month.
–  We need folks who will join our team to operate our gift shop. The Selective Eye provides shopping fun for all of our customers and guests. Can you spare two or three hours per month to help out in our shop?
–  We need teachers and instructors to present a class or workshop. We’re ready to re-open our doors to kids and adults for fun classes. While this is not exactly a volunteer program (revenue is split between the instructor and the Arts Center), we are asking you to bring your creative ideas and talents to engage with students.

PLEASE: Call us (315-823-0808) or email our Director (director@MohawkValleyArts.org) to volunteer!
