The MVCA FUN Committee is meeting on Tuesday, March 23rd at 7 PM. We invite you to attend and provide a helping hand in creating our 2010 Fund Raising season.
Various activites being planned are:
Bus Trips to SPAC, Tanglewood, Lilac Festival, and the Hudson Valley
Micro Brewery Beer or Wine Tasting Event
Art of Gardening Festival
Plein Air Painting/Auction
Canal Days Fund Raising Theme
Fund Raising is one of the major ways that MVCA is able to keep it's doors open for the public and provide quality classes, workshops and events.
WALK FOR THE ARTS SCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY, OCTOBER 24, 2009
Walk for the Arts is a Mohawk Valley Community Event to help raise awareness and money to fund the programs at the center for adults and children.
The 5K (3 miles) walk will start at Canal Place; continue through the Little Falls scenic parks; and end back at Canal Place.
During the walk you will be entertained by all the different forms of local art that the center promotes. After the walk enjoy more local artists, refreshments, music and more.

HOLIDAY EXHIBIT SALE
November 25-January 6th 12-4pm Tuesday-Saturday
For this show, the Selective eye expands into the gallery to house our Holiday Exhibit. This exhibit is a bazaar of different local crafter’s wares and a MUST stop for holiday shopping. Come and shop for special gifts like hand crocheted scarves, hats, jewelry, paintings and more.
Opening reception December 6th 4-6pm
Join us for coffee, hot chocolate and refreshments. Mother Christmas will read stories, Father Christmas will be there too.
