About the Artists
The artists
were all under the direction of Frank Wilcox, drawing and
representational painting instructor at the Arts Center.
Donald Giffune
Donald Giffune taught Social Studies for 35 years. Now in retirement, Don
has studied oil, pastel and watercolor with Easten Pribble at MWP and
Donna Veeder and Frank Wilcox at Mohawk Valley Center for the Arts.
Jayne Ritz
Jayne Ritz is a charter member of the Arts Center. She is very active in
community activities as well as the owner of Walking Mule Designs. Jayne
has attended many arts courses through her career.
Marcia Feliciti
Marcia Feliciti resides in Canajoharie. She has painted for more than 15
year, beginning at Fulton Montgomery Community College. Marcia has taken
private lessons in Gloversville and from Donna Veeder and Frank Wilcox at
Mohawk Valley Center for the Arts in Little Falls.
Her paintings have won many awards and have been
shown in exhibitions in Canajoharie, Little Falls, Fort Klock,
Gloversville, Saratoga Springs, Schenectady, Hagamen, Speculator and
Amsterdam. Many of her paintings are in private collections.
Patricia Posluszny
Patricia Posluszny majored in Art in High School. She has always enjoyed
drawing, but wanted to try oil painting. She took evening classes in oil
painting at Fulton Montgomery Community College and also took several
years with Nancy Jung. She is currently attending classes with Frank
Wilcox.
She has exhibited her work in Amsterdam Museum,
Gloversville, Speculator, Hagaman Civic Center and the Century Club.
