"body and building: concepts for renewal -
A Center for Integrative Medicine in Little Falls"
Pratt Design Proposal Exhibition
Opening Reception is Sunday, April 1 from 1-3 PM
Graduate Students from Pratt Institute's Dept. of Interior Design have been working on
design concepts for a Center for Integrative Medicine in the upper two floors of the Stone
Mill in Little Falls. The exhibit will explore the interior design process from abstract
inspiration to final concept, while featuring elements of student work as a basis for
promoting awareness in the public. There will be a gallery talk and light refreshments

Diane Davis & Martha Deming
- "Everyday Inspirations". Diane and
Martha, retired art teachers and now full time artists, will exhibit a range of subjects
in a variety of mediums. These two Adirondack-based artists have shown their work
regionally and nationally. Read

Celia Clark - "Portraits and Places". Winner of the Regional Show's Solo Award,
this Central NY, American and National Watercolor Society Member will have her work on
display. Her remarkable watercolors have garnered several awards and have been included in
art publications and private collections.

January 8 - February 11 - Robert Willman
Opening reception is on Sunday, January 8 from 1-3 PM. A well-known artist in the area,
Willman's paintings of rural landscapes around Central and Northern New York will be on
display. Winner of the Regional Solo Award, Robert Willman's recent works are a must-see.
February 26 - April 4 - Robert Huxtable: A Retrospective. Multi-talented and endearing, Huxtable has been creating art for
over 40 years. Crow Quill pen drawings, watercolors, photography, and etchings will all be
exhibited. Take this opportunity to see his intriguing array of artworks as well as his
collection of antique cameras.
April 23 - May 20 - John van
Orsouw. John van Orsouw is a self taught artist, born
and raised in The Netherlands. He has drawn and doodled since he was a child.
His vibrant acrylic paintings and sculptures are influenced by a number of eclectic
sources which include childrens art and colorful toys, and the 20th Century
Expressionists. His interest in modern music, especially American jazz, is also evident in
many of his paintings. His works are filled with energy and imagination, a playful stream
of consciousness, but not without order and an intuitive sense of balance. Both the two
and three-dimensional pieces are so clearly from the same hand.
June 4 - June 17 - MVCA Student Show - View/Read about Mohawk River Mural
Students from the past year are exhibiting their
learned accomplishments. Visit the Gallery yearly and watch them grow! Opening reception
is Sunday, June 4 from 1-3:00 PM.
June 25 - August 5 - Central New York Watercolor Society
Members of the CNYWS is composed of a group of talented artists who have achieved
recognition for their work in water-based media. They will be exhibiting their work with
an opening reception Monday, June 26 from 6-8 PM at the Arts Center.
August 11- September 9 - 2006 Regional Invitational Exhibit -
"Mirror of Our Times". This exhibition was juried by Diane Forsburg, curator of
the Canjoharie Art Museum. The Tri-Ultimate Award winners were: Giorgia Talarico, Celia
Clark, and Leslie Kubica; Honorable Mention: Anne Powers. The People's Choice Award went
to Brenda Lomeli.
October 1 - November 4 - Linda Butti
Color and Light Linda is a painter whose work has tactile and emotional
qualities related to personal memories and places. Widely exhibited, her work is in many
public and corporate art collections. Lindas work has been exhibited in eighteen
solo shows in the NYC area, and has been in over 80 group exhibits in NYC & across the
country.
November 18 -December 31 - Membership Show and Expanded Selective Eye. OPEN

"Especially for Ewe"
A retrospective by Fiber Artist, Sandi Cirillo. Opening reception is Sunday, July 10 from
1:00 to 3:00 where Sandi offers a gallery talk in a workshop setting.

12th -; Sept 10th - Regional Invitational - 2005 - "Small Works of Great
Expression". This exhibition is juried and judged by Christy Harrington, a Fine

September 25 - October 22 "The Art of Guy Correrio".
Opening reception is on Sunday, September 25, from 1PM -3PM. Guy Corriero, a celebrated
local artist and a well-known name in New England, opens his one man show of watercolor
paintings.
