PEN IN HAND AUTHOR'S READINGS
Friday, March 2 at 7:30 PM
The "Pen in Hand" young writers conference is an opportunity for area high
school students to attend a two days of workshops with professional writers. The public is
invited to listen to readings by four published authors at the Arts Center. This is a free
event sponsored by Poets & Writers.
"The Creation: Geological Accuracy of the Genesis Account"
with Tom Brewster
Sunday, March 4 from 1-3 PM.
Tom Brewster is a Princeton
graduate who has traveled extensively in the Middle East - from the Rift Valley to
Afghanistan, among other places in the world. Tom has studied Arabic and Middle Eastern
History and will give a lecture accompanied by a Power Point presentation regarding the
rich history of the region. Reception will follow.
CHAMBER MUSIC with CHRIS & HAIDA EARLEY
Three concerts hosted by Arts Center Members. Locations are: Oct. 29 - at Alan &
Linda Vincent's, Nov. 19 - at Nan Ressue's, and Dec. 17 at Burrell & Marty Fisher's,
all in Little Falls. Concerts begin at 3PM. The cost is $13 per concert or $33 for all

AMY GALLATIN & STILLWATERS

Amy Gallatin and her band, Stillwaters, will be performing Oct. 13 at 7:30 PM. She is at
home singing various musical styles - country, folk, bluegrass or western swing - branding
each song with soulful sincerity. Her influences are
diverse, ranging from old and contemporary cowboy tunes learned out West, to great country
artists like Emmylou Harris, Merle Haggard, Loretta Lynn, and the Everly Brothers, with
even a dash of blues influence thrown in. Amys most recent album, The Long Way
Home was recorded in Nashville, TN with Grammy winning producer Rich Adler and a
host of noted acoustic musicians. Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door. Held at

THE MARIO DESANTIS ORCHESTRA
Sunday, September 10 from 2:30-4:30 PM
Held at Eastern Park, E. Main St., Little Falls
Celebrating 59 years of music in Central NY, the Mario DeSantis Orchestra
continues to share its love of all musical styles from Jazz to Contemporary with Central
New York audiences. This years shows feature over 30 new arrangements including
traditional big band, new era swing, medleys, and listening and dance
selections from the 60s to the year 2006. This is a free concert sponsored by
