The mission of the Mohawk Valley Center for the Arts is to promote and facilitate the arts for residents of the Mohawk Valley. Our vision is to enhance the quality of life by creating opportunities for learning, personal creativity, and artisitic expression.
Since 1982, Mohawk Valley Center for the Arts (“MVCA”) has worked to be a leader and advocate for these arts through education and promotion of interest and understanding of the arts, thereby advancing appreciation of the arts.
By creating opportunities for learning, personal creativity, artistic expression, and connection to our diverse community, we strive to enhance the quality of life for residents of this region of New York State.
We are a multi-art center offering classes in watercolor, oil, and representational painting. Workshops offered throughout the year cover a variety of fine arts and crafts, and may include cooking, gardening, pottery, even fly-tying.
