Mohawk Valley Center for the Arts, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and facilitating all aspects of the visual and performing arts for residents of the Mohawk Valley in central New York State.  Since 1982, Mohawk Valley Center for the Arts (“MVCA”) has worked to be a leader and advocate for these arts through education and promotion of interest and understanding of the arts, thereby advancing appreciation of the arts.

By creating opportunities for learning, personal creativity, artistic expression, and connection to our diverse community, we strive to enhance the quality of life for residents of this region of New York State.

The general management of the affairs of MVCA is vested in a Board of Directors, which fixes its policies, elects its officers, and has the authority to take all necessary and proper steps to carry out the purposes of the corporation and promote its best interest.  Day-to-day management of the organization is under the charge and direction of the Executive Director, who is appointed by the Board of Directors.
